The rental platform for bikes and outdoor gear

Your rental runs, even when you're not at the counter.

Click&Share handles everything after the booking — payments and deposits, customer instructions, handovers, returns and reviews.

Run each location staffed, hybrid or fully unattended. You decide when to automate.

No app for your customers. Booking, payment, communication and access in one system — set up by us, with your existing bookings moved over.

Used by rental operators in eight countries. Integrated with ten smart-lock brands. Run every day at our own unattended stations in Austria.

Less work. More revenue.

Automate the repetitive part

  • Payments and deposits are collected before anyone arrives.
  • Pickup details and codes go out the evening before, by email and SMS. Nobody types them at the counter.
  • Extensions, cancellations and bike swaps: the customer does them, not you.
  • Returns confirmed, deposits released, reviews requested, without a reminder list.
  • One list of today's pickups, deliveries and returns instead of spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
  • Walk-up customers book on their phone at the door. Nobody stops what they're doing.

What's left is the handover you actually want to do — or none at all.

Stay open longer, capture more bookings

  • The 7 a.m. pickup and the 8 p.m. return, without being there at 7 or 8.
  • The shoulder season, when staffing the shop isn't worth it but the trails are open.
  • A second location — a hotel, a campground, another town — without a second team.
  • Fewer no-shows: paid upfront, deposit held, changes made online.
  • Insurance, helmets and child seats sold in checkout, not forgotten at the counter.
  • A review request after every rental, while the ride is still fresh. More reviews, more of next season's bookings.

Every hour you couldn't cover is an hour you can now sell.

"Nowhere could I get e-bikes for a Saturday in October — not at the tourist offices, not at the rental stations. Then someone told me to look online at Click&Bike, and voilà: from booking to changing the times to the bikes and the return, everything went perfectly."

Which one is you?

The booking was the easy part.

Most rental software stops at the calendar. The reservation is in, and the real day begins: the handover, the questions, the return, the damage nobody wrote down. Click&Share is built for that part.

Booking-first tools

  • Fill the calendar.
  • Everything after the booking is email, spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
  • More bookings mean more coordination.

Click&Share, operations-first

  • Fill the calendar, then run the day.
  • Handover, changes, returns and issues live in the same system as the booking.
  • More bookings mean the same amount of coordination.

What your team works with

What runs by itself, from booking to review

Five steps, one platform. Your customers see a booking page like a hotel's, then the messages that follow. You see a dashboard.

  1. 1

    Booking and payment

Customers book in a guided flow on your website or your Click&Share store page, see the final price before checkout, pay with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods, and the deposit is held automatically. If you deliver, the customer picks a delivery window in the same checkout, priced the way you choose: by travel time, by distance, by distance bands or by delivery area.

  2. 2

    Everything the customer needs

A confirmation at booking. Then, at the cut-off you set — the evening before, or right away for last-minute bookings — the pickup details by email and the codes by SMS: one for the door, one per bike, valid for the booked time. Up to three languages, and further messages on triggers you set — a reminder before the end of the rental, for example. Nothing to download.

  3. 3

    The handover

At the counter: your team sees today's pickups, deliveries and returns in one list and checks out in one tap, paperwork already done. Unattended: the customer's codes open the room and their bikes — and only during the booked time.

  4. 4

    During the rental

Customers extend, cancel or switch to a different bike themselves, and have the instructions in their messages. No helpdesk needed for the everyday things. Real problems reach you or your on-call person.

  5. 5

    Return and review

The return is confirmed, the deposit is released, and the customer is asked for a review while the ride is still fresh. The customer documents the return with photos and the condition of each bike; you review it in the return report. A problem becomes an issue that moves from reported to confirmed, repair assigned and resolved.

Three modes. Your call, per location.

Self-service is a setting, not a decision you make once for the whole business.

Staffed

You hand over exactly as you do today. What changes: bookings, payments, deposits and paperwork are digital, reminders go out by themselves, and reviews come in without asking.

TypicallyThe main shop during peak hours. Also the easiest place to start.

Start staffed. Switch on unattended access for one location or one time window when you're ready — early pickups, late returns, the shoulder season, a hotel station. Same platform, nothing to reinstall.

Works with the space you already have

Unattended access needs a door that opens with a code. Three ways to get one.

A room and one smart lock

Your storage room gets a digital lock. Two-step access if you want it: the room opens, the bikes inside are unlocked. Most shops start here — locks from about €160 one-off.

Bike boxes and lockers

For hotels, campgrounds and places without a room. From our box partners, delivered ready to connect to Click&Share.

Locks on the bikes

For direct access to a rack in the open. A code per bike, offline-capable locks, every opening logged.

Ten lock manufacturers integrated, including offline PIN locks that need no Wi-Fi. You buy the hardware directly from the maker — we don't add a markup, we tell you which one fits your setup.

For hotels, campgrounds and resorts: you have the guests. We make the bikes pay.

Your guests already ask for bikes. Reception shouldn't have to become a rental desk.

With Click&Share, guests book from a QR code at reception or from your website, pay online, and receive their codes by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Reception hands out nothing, signs nothing, holds no cash and no keys. You see every booking and every euro in the dashboard — and your guests get a 24-hour bike offer that your neighbours don't have.

Everywhere

Your bikes, our platform

You own the fleet, we run booking, access and payment. Pays off from a handful of bikes.

Austria

Bikes and service from our partner

No fleet to buy. A partner supplies the bikes and handles maintenance and service; your team does the daily check and cleaning. Click&Share runs booking, access and payment.

Built by operators. Tested every season on our own stations.

We're not only a software company. We run Click&Bike stations in Faak am See and Villach — 41 bikes, nobody on site — and Click&Paddle SUP stations on three Carinthian lakes. Every flow on the platform goes through our own high season before it reaches yours.

The photo is our Villach store: a customer, his code, the door. No app, no counter.

Villach: 4.9 stars from 167 Google reviews. Faak am See: 4.9 from 145. Nobody was ever at the counter at either station.

A customer enters his code on the keypad at the door of the Click&Bike station in Villach
Thanks to our self-service locations we were able to expand our service area significantly, with no real extra effort. Even on days with a poor weather forecast, bookings come in as soon as a few hours of sunshine appear.

The questions every operator asks first

What about theft?
Codes are bound to a booking and a time window, every opening is logged with the customer's name, and a deposit is held on their card. You choose the security level: a locked room in front of the bikes, or direct access.
My e-bikes need explaining.
Send a short video with the code — customers watch it before they arrive. Operators use exactly this for cargo bikes and folding kayaks today.
My customers aren't tech people.
They book the way they book a hotel room: pick dates, choose the bikes, pay. Everything after that — where to go, the code for the room, the code for the bike, the intro video — arrives by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Nothing to install.
"I'm a technophobe. This personless rental was perfect. Web reservation simple. Pickup simpler. Return the same."
Michael P., Google review, Click&Bike Villach
I already have a booking system.
Most operators switch, because booking, communication and access work best as one system — and we do the moving. Products, prices, inventory and existing bookings are set up by us before you go live, so there is no gap in bookings.
What if something goes wrong at 8 p.m.?
Most of what used to be a phone call, the customer does alone: extend, cancel, switch to a different bike or size, re-read the instructions. What's left — a bike that breaks down, an accident on the trail — reaches you or whoever you name as on-call. You decide who and when.
How long does setup take?
A few days. We plan the setup with you, configure products, pricing and inventory, recommend a lock if you want unattended access, and stay on the line for your first week.

Pricing that follows the mode you run

A small monthly fee per location, plus a share of what the platform actually does for you. Hand over yourself, pay little. Let the platform hand over, pay more — and be somewhere else.

  • Per location, per monthfrom €49
  • Booking you hand over yourself1%
  • Unattended self-service booking5%
  • Paid at your counter0%

Two-week free trial, no setup fee. Volume pricing for many locations and seasonal locations. Hardware is bought directly from the manufacturer. Payment processing fees passed through at cost.

See it working in three minutes.

The live demo puts you in the customer's seat: book, receive the code, open the door. Then we talk about your shop.

Questions

What do I still have to do myself?

Check, clean and maintain the equipment — on your own schedule instead of at fixed handover times. Everything between booking and return runs on the platform.

Do I need to be technical?

No. We set the system up for you — products, prices, inventory, messages — and recommend a lock that fits your room if you want unattended access. Day-to-day use is a dashboard and a phone.

Can I use unattended access only for edge hours?

Yes. Many operators run the counter during opening hours and use code access for early pickups, late returns and the shoulder season. You can also switch a single location to unattended and keep the others staffed.

Which equipment works?

Bikes and e-bikes are the core, including high-value bikes with a deposit and explanation-heavy products like cargo bikes. SUPs, kayaks and other sports equipment run on the same platform.

Do you have digital waivers or rental agreements?

Not yet in the standard package. Digital waivers are on the roadmap and are added for operators who need signed agreements at booking — typically in the US. Ask, and we plan it into your setup.

Is the lock system secure?

Each lock is chosen to match the security needs of the location. Codes are individual, time-limited and traceable to a named customer, and every access is logged.
